PostHeaderIcon Stained Glass Window Film With Religious Themes

We received a very nice email from a gentlemen last week looking for help in locating religious themed  window film. Specifically he wanted stained glass window film with religious images in it.  It turns out that he was doing some charitable renovation work for a church in Port-de-Paix, Haiti and they had installed a number of windows with plain clear glass.  He was having a hard time finding much variety and ultimately he said that he was willing to go with just regular stained glass film as long as there were colorful options and was reasonably affordable.   Of course because this was for a charitable project, they wanted to keep the cost as low as possible.

I’ll have to admit that at first my only thought was to send him to the Religious Themed Window film at wallpaperforwindows.com. (On Home Page–Look On Left Side Bar–Click Religious Themes) Really I couldn’t think of any other options besides this except for that if he didn’t like the options at that website,  he’d need to find colorful patterns that would suit his purpose without the specific religious symbols that he wished for.

Well its been bothering me for a week now and I decided to do some in depth research to see what other options might be out there for a situation like this.   Here are a few other places that might come in handy if you find yourself needing options for your church and aren’t able to afford purchasing real stained glass windows.

Illuminado Window Film:  (http://illuminadofilm.com/church_designs.html)

I can’t personally vouch for the customer service or quality of this company, so please do your due diligence if you consider buying from them.  I will say though that their website is of good quality, they have many options for religious window film and other stained glass window film patterns.   You need to call them for pricing anyways, so If you see a pattern that stands out and might work in your situation, feel free to call.  Also if  you’d like, let us know how your transaction went and we’d be happy to let all our other readers know about the experience.

Kinklglas: (http://www.krinklglas.com/)

While technically not window film, Krinklglas does appear to be a good low cost alternative to real stained glass windows.  This is especially important to churches with limited budgets and yet still want to get a quality product that they can be proud of.  Essentially this material is not real glass, but a form of fiberglass.

It looks like they have a series of catalogs available for download on their website and also offer information on how to get in touch with a local dealer in your State.  I’m guessing that if you have a fairly large project, you’ll want to work with someone local anyways and these dealers can show you your different options for windows, panels, doors, or other panels.

As for cost, again, I’m sorry I’m not much help here because its going to depend on your project and your specific needs.  I’m almost sure though that this product will be in the “middle” as far as cost goes.  That is, it would be more than window film, but less than real stained glass windows.  You can check out the manufacturer’s website here:

In wrapping up, I want to say that I hope these two resources help out just a little bit and offer you a few new places to check out if you are considering window film for your place of worship or even in your home.  Happy shopping!
